Okay like, yay he has a dog, but Liv still took time to confirm Justin wasnt sleepiing with anyone else and wanted to be exclusive with her and then cheated on him. Thats a thing that happened nd no matter “how hawt” it was, its still wrong. No excuses. Liv could resist not sleeping with others, yet she somehow “has no will power” with Chase, cause brains?? Yeah, no.

Help me out here. Are you debating that Vivian Stoll is still alive?  That Chase Graves is a textbook example of a red herring?  Or that dogs typically symbolize goodness in fiction?  

Because (other than my clear disclaimer that I don’t justify cheating) that was the gist of my post.

It's confusing to me that people are so annoyed with Maggie. She has handled grief so much better than a lot of the other characters. (C'mon, Amelia?!) I MEAN THE WHOLE DAMN HOSPITAL STAFF PUBLICLY BLAMED PENNY FOR DEREK'S DEATH. Maggie's angry and grieving. Who wouldn't have mixed emotions about their friends/mom lying about her illness. Then when all your friends are telling your mom it's best to give up and she dies...Her anger isn't fair, but it's realistic​. Like, let her be human, ya know?

I don’t disagree! I think I mentioned in the review that everybody else was being super hypocritical in how they were treating Maggie. HOWEVER, Maggie is a character who I really, really loved when she first came on the show, but she’s gotten progressively more childish since then. I feel so bad for her that her mom died, but I also think the way she behaved when she thought her mom was just getting breast augmentation was TERRIBLE, and that’s not the first time she’s made something about her when it really shouldn’t have been.

Long story short, I’m of two minds. Situationally, I think Maggie handling her grief is an important thing to show. But her characterization has become so annoying to me lately that it’s hard for me to be completely on her side… Idk I’m being wishy-washy but that’s how I feel.

Sherlock has prescribed syringes nonetheless, he could definitely be taking hormones and abusing that he had access to needles in hlv... Since he's well known, why would a dealer sell a kit to him? Wouldn't they be worried he's setting them up?

Okay, I know I'm a pain in the ass for asking, but do you have a guesstimate of when you may be updating FftFM? It's my favorite SydCarmy and I'm obsessed 😭 (take all the time you need!)

It’s all good, lol. By day I’m a grad student and last Friday I had a presentation to give, so I haven’t been able to write much since my last update. I’m maybe like 1.5k words into Ch 9 atm. When I get into the groove of it I can write a fair amount in short sittings though, so maybe second week(end) of November? I’ll let y’all know when I’m close.

Have you tried The Expanse? I absolutely fell in love with that show! Or Humans, which is just fantastic.

I’ve heard great things about The Expanse but something about it didn’t really appeal to me - I’ve had a hard time getting into hard sci-fi (set in space) for years now because they kind of just tend to blend together: they usually look and feel very similar and the plot/characters aren’t usually enough to make me feel like I haven’t seen it 10 times before. I watched the trailer and it looks/feels a bit Battlestar Galactica-ish which I was never particularly fond of, but based on the glowing reputation it has it does feel like I should give it a try. 

Humans looks interesting, I love the concept - kinda completely forgot it existed tbh, I haven’t heard a word about it in ages. I’ll probably start with that!
