Let’s all pause for a moment and reflect on the fact that in his first appearance in battle, Mayuri was seen using his own men as bombs. The name of the chapter was "Shake Hands With Grenades" FFS.

400+ chapters later, he is now saving the abused corpses of his fellow captains from the hands of the enemy and using them to fight the (supposedly) good fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, he has come full circle.

Two important things about Giselle here.

#1 Mayuri called Giselle "Zombie Girl." So does this mean she is female? I would assume Mayuri of all people would be able to tell.

#2 Does anyone honestly think I would believe Giselle is dead after being stabbed when she survived a burner finger just fine? The only way that could kill Giselle is if Mayuri laced the blade with a poison. Granted Mayuri probably won't kill her since he wants his precious research subject. Maybe.
