He sent me three different beers from @alehub.de This one is my first pick. An Imperial stout aged on american oakchips. Let's dive in! It pours pitch black, with a large beige head. Leaves a fine lacing. Sexy 🤝 Aromas of oak, roasted malts, caramel and dark chocolate. Taste has a big oaky presence. Roasted malts, vanilla and caramel can be found in this woody, creamy and medium carbonated brew. A soft bitterness in the closing stages. Medium to full bodied. Vanilla and dark chocolate come together and joins the ever present oak in a slight boozy finish. Bitterness lingers into the next sip... Repeat. ♥️ There it is, my first German stout. IMPY aswell. Very enjoyable. If anything, the body could have been a bit bolder. But a very nice start! Cheers again to the Living legend Xavier!
