Mother with very definitely not neurotypical child who should probably seek outside counseling about how to help her daughter, but instead sends her away to Be Normal Please camp (but you’re a single mom working really hard, so I get it, I guess)

Probably the best parent in the show (but don’t be too smug about it, the bar isn’t high)

Loves her daughters very much and never intended to hurt them but is a bad parent nonetheless

Didn’t put up much of a fuss about their daughter changing careers, so I guess they’re okay

Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss and her malewife husband who I think just woke up married to her one day, but it’s not like he’s doing much to help the kids so... you two shouldn’t be parents (Bonus: Good Principal, not a father, but definitely totally is)

I don’t know much about you, but your son seems to be relatively well-adjusted for a prodigy, and he’s free to/comfortable with pursuing his personal interests despite your plan for him, and you let him take over your broadcast to free Eda without a fuss, so I guess you’re probably a pretty good dad

quite funny how everyone is treating camila like a horrible mother bc she sent luz to a camp where she could learn useful skills while also socializing with other kids with her age and make some real friends while treating the blights, who were abusive, manipulative and who control amity's friendships, like misunderstood parents...

Not saying that what Camila did was absolutely correct considering that luz is neurodivergent and she should not put her daughter in a "fit inside the box" scenario, but treating the single latina black mom who works almost all the time to give luz the best she can as someone terrible while treating the blights, who are white and rich, like victims is a little.... oh if there was a word for this... /s

If Amity's parents do end up dying in the next episode, I wonder if Amity will be like Bojack Horseman in ‘Free Churro’, where she not only has to mourn them, but the fact that she never got to have a good relationship with them, and now she never will?

I have a Headcanon , in which I think I, that amity's parents as children were very close because of a deal between their families, just imagine it, I feel that if, and that over time they have fallen in love with each other, uff VIVA EL AMOOOR!!
