Summary: Pregnancy is hard.
Warnings: mentions of pregnancy.
Y/n breathed heavily, sitting on the side of the edge of the bed, her head rested in Harry's tummy. “I just don’t understand.” She whimpers, her hands balled up in his shirt, resting in his pudgy hips. “My pregnancy with Finnley was so amazing, why is this one so hard?” Harry squeezes her a little harder, resting his head on top of hers. “I don’t know? I’m so sorry, Honey.” Harry let’s her snuffle into his shirt, running her back. They hear little feet, their bedroom door creaking open, and Finnley standing in front of them. Finnley stands in a diaper and a striped shirt with unruly hair. Harry pulls away, crouching down in front of Finnley.
“What did we tell you about crawling out of your crib, Fin?”
Finnley ignores his dad and looks at his mummy. “Mumma okay?” Finnley asks, seeing the pain his mother is in even though she is trying to cover it up with a smile. Harry stands up, brushing a hand over her head and kissing it. “Yes, mumma is okay. She’s just feeling a little sick.”
Finnley ignores Harry once again, and pulls himself up on their bed. “Okay mumma?” Finnley asks, smoothing her hair down like he always sees Harry do. Y/n giggles, nodding. “I am okay.” She kisses the back of his hand, laying back. “Baby come?” Finnley shuffling further up on the bed, Harry feeling left out and deciding to join them laying on the bed.
Finnley asks every day if the baby has come yet even though bub isn’t due anytime soon. “Nope, baby is still in.” Y/n softly pats his cheek, kissing his forehead. “Okay,” Harry hums, wrapping his arm around Finnley and pulling Y/n closer to them. “Time for us all to get some rest.” Harry yawns, his arms lying over the three people. “But we just woke u-“

I just realized that I did not make it clear at all in “spreading you open” that Harry’s parents only homeschooled him for a couple of years!!! Not all of his school years up until uni 😭 I am so sorry if I caused any confusion!!! I should have made that a lot more clear!!!!
