One of the local fish that live in the shadows of the fall run superstars like stripers, blues, and albies is the almighty blackfish. They don’t blitz or hit surface lures. They’re tough to find, and when you do they’re ugly and slimy. Yet ask any fisherman that has gotten on a good tog bite and it’s pretty clear this is one of the most beautiful fish to pull out of local waters. (more…)
