     there is something... peculiar about the woman that’s just entered the lobby of the hotel cortez. the countess can’t quite put her finger on it, but she’s already decided she wants to know. it’s why she approaches the newcomer, a warm and inviting smile finding her crimson painted lips.     “ hello... welcome to the hotel cortez. is there something i can help you with? book you into a room, perhaps? ”     it isn’t every day that elizabeth does these things herself; it’s why she has iris or liz taylor working the front desk.

Upon seeing Vanessa in the navy blue, black and grey cheering uniform, all Spencer could do was stare while taking it in. Well, he’d usually be covered in feathers which worked as fantastic insulation against both the heat and cold, and he didn’t think it was that cool anyway. So he was more than content in his earthy green tank and minding his own business. Why did she care, anyway?

He didn’t reply with anything verbal, just let those super intense eyes of his stare right back at hers.
