Why had Null even decided to work at a bookstore? He wasn’t a reader, nor did he plan to be. And now some boy was asking him questions about a book he’d never even heard of.
“U-uh... I dunno. T-the cover kinda gives off an air of Ancient Gr-- Oh. D-damn, wait a sec. I know what it is now. It’s a t-twist on a myth where the protagonist dies instead of his fr-riend. He--” Oh.
Roleplaying these type of vampire shouldn't be much different then roleplaying a normal vampire. There’s just a few to know things that make these vampires what they are. The first thing I want to start with is their bloodlust.
Bloodlust.
Shadow Bloods bloodlust is much greater than a normal vampires which makes it much easier for them to lose control while feeding. Their blood hunger is psychological however, these vampires really feed off energy/life force. It can be easily taken from the blood they might suck from someone, but kissing and sex are much better ways to feed. They can also feed from the energy that comes from strong emotions from the people around them. This dosen’t make them empathic, but each emotion might taste different. Also if they don’t feed, their bodies will start absorbing energy from anything around them. Meaning plants and small animals will die around them-- and if it’s really bad. They might kill people just by being around them from their bodies taking away peoples life force with no control.
Note: because they mostly feed through kissing and what not, much like a bite from one of these vampires, their kisses are better than drugs.
Bad Luck.
Pretty much everything wants them dead for being awful abominations that shouldn’t even live. They just have so much bad luck, so feel free to have bad things just happen to them.
Darkness & Power
So because of how their powers grow, young vampires feel as if there’s this darkness growing inside them that just keeps getting bigger. And they will feel this until they’re powers grow to full, until they no longer mimic a shadow, and instead become one. Letting them transform their body completely into shadows. They also need to awaken as a full shadow blood-- That can only happen if the vampire goes on a blood frenzy. Losing control like that and becoming a killer unlocks all they have inside.
Wings and Tail
"Their wings are a mix of bat like ones and those fairies would have. And the black markings on their backs are literally their wings. Meaning if the markings are damaged so are the wings. “
Now because if you read what little I have on that page, you already knows this so I’m going to talk about how they grow in. If born, they will already have the tail and wings but if turned they have to grow in. The wings will appear a little slow until the marks are full.
Their tails hide under their skin, so they will have a little pain in their lower back until it’s grown-- which could take 3-6 weeks. Their tails are also very sensitive, so having them pulled or touched gives them an "erotic" sensation. Enjoy that. Also they’re tails aren't out all of the time, in fact the vampire can control when it’s out and not. But if angered, scared, pleasured, strong emotions, etc. Just like their fangs, it’ll pop out. The wings do not to this.
Body works.
If they keep energy or fresh blood in their bodies, they’ll work not much different than a human. They don’t have tears however so they cry blood-- and they also don’t sweat. Also don’t need to eat or drink but can if wanted.
Their aging stops mostly at 20, but they can stop aging at younger or older ages. If turned, when they are turned that is the age they will now be forever, but their mental aging will continue for the most part.
Weakneess
Sunlight: Younger ones will just burn but older ones can go out but only for a few hours. And the whole time they’re out in the sun, it’ll feel like they’re burning up.
Silver: Will burn their skin on touch. Stay away from it.
Water: makes them dizzy, very light headed and very sick. Only holy water blessed by an angel can kill them, normal holy water dose nothing as they’re not unholy just dark.
Exsanguination: Not having blood in their bodies will kill them.
Decapitation: If the head of a vampire is severed completely, the vampire will perish, unless the head is placed back on to the body. Breaking the neck of a vampire only causes mild discomfort.
Fire: Fire will surely kill them. And if burned it’ll take longer for them to heal and it can scare.
Feel like I am missing something :/ but I think this is pretty much what you needa know.
