Thaewen flinched as he watched the harsh fight take place. Blades slashing here and there, blood flying over the place. It wasn't exactly a situation that he wanted to watch, yet he was captivated. How often did one get to see a fight break out between evidently skilled fighters? Not often, he only saw the odd roughing up by bandits, but never anything with such choreography and grace. It was a shame that people were getting hurt.
And right by where both elfroot and deathroot were growing. Typical.
He waited a couple of moments after the winning group left, just in case they came back. The last thing he needed was to get involved, especially when he was as skilled in self defence as a lost moth. Slowly creeping his way down to the little dirt opening where the fight took place, he winced slightly. "Maker's breath..." he let out, then quickly looking away as to not throw up from the sight of the blood. He held his mouth, taking a deep breath before finally forraging for the plants he initially went to the alcove for. Whilst pocketing the various roots and leaves, he just saw a chest rise in his peripheral vision. Not... dead? Goodness, they'd actually left one alive? With that skill he wasn't sure how, but he wouldn't question it.
"Uh... hello?" Thaewen let out before going to kneel next to the body, waving a hand in front of his face. "Can you hear me? Hello?" Unconscious, unresponsive, and likely to bleed to death if action wasn't taken immediately. Taking a deep breath, he then wrapped his arms around the unconscious, bleeding elf, lifting him up over his shoulder with a hefty grunt. Suddenly those physical fitness lessons didn't seem worth skipping as they did at the time. He huffed, managing to lug him up the dirt path through a few trees and round to the small, out-of-the-way area he'd deemed safe enough to set up camp.
"There we-... nh..." he uttered before dragging out the bedroll from his tent with his foot in a rather awkward display before ever so gently lowering the bleeding elf down onto the bed roll. "Right..." He took a moment to catch his breath before kneeling down next to him. "Hello? Can you hear me? Move your eyes if you can!" Nothing, yet after lowering his ear to his mouth he could tell he was still breathing. At least that was something. Once he'd collected fresh water, he cleaned his face, applying salve to where it was swelling. Taking a moment to open his shirt, he hissed at the open wounds, covering his mouth again to stop himself from throwing up. "Okay... I can do this. Just-... Just as well you're unconscious," he uttered, knowing it would sting badly. He very carefully cleaned his wounds, applying what salves and potions he knew would help the healing process before bandaging him up. Once he was cleaned up and dressed in one of Thaewen's jackets to keep him warm, the mage then turned to make himself some vegetable soup. He'd earnt it, and once the other elf had woken up he was sure he would be hungry - if he woke up at all.
