“I thought you’d like some company this weekend.” 

Connor smiled. Offering her a chance to have some time to herself without worry, he purposely put Lotus in a position of accepting dinner. He brought Italian from a newly established bistro. The meal itself was perfect. The company of her was better. 

He wanted to clean up after dinner. Keeping things from falling into her hands is his goal. It worked well. 

Dinner enabled him to hold her close. Closer they become through this and there isn’t any other way he can think of this. Whenever he sees her he feels it. Whenever she’s looked tired he’s tried to sway her to a gentler sleep. That had been words. Tonight he can’t help but fall to action. 

After cleaning up those dishes he found his way to her. Just them. No one else. Her daughter was with his brother for the weekend. 

All of that seemed fresh still but Connor could only think of one thing. He slipped a hand over to her waist. Giving her a gentle squeeze, smile causing his dimples to show, Connor leaned back against the couch. A comfortable and intimate place to be. He allowed his touch to move to her hand. He held onto hers now. 

“You should have some time to yourself. Everything will be alright. I know Calla is enjoying herself. You should too. Lotus, what is one thing you’d like to do. I will do it right now for you.”

“Hey, Lotus.” 

Calling over to her as she drags her gym bag behind her, North approached diplomatically. No amount of sweat and grime from soccer can hide her hesitation. Things were a mess. Her relationship with Markus lasted as long as she thought it would. There was no going the distance involved. Should have known better. It was Jade they were talking about. 

She looked over the shorter girl as she pieced together what to say. Not only is Lotus a close friend of Jade Winthrope’s but she’s the girlfriend of Caleb. The twin brother of Markus’ best friend. 

In other words North knows she got involved in this interconnected drama. Sometimes feelings do that. But that didn’t stop her from wanting to be a bigger person. “I know Jade won’t talk to me. So I wanted to tell you to maybe mention I do. It’s nothing bad. I don’t want to start any fights. I just wanted to tell her I was sorry for some of the things said when she and Markus were broken up. Some of that came from a few people I knew but it also came from me at times.”

“Funny you say that.” Jade smirked just enough to be mischievous. Time to go poking in her closet. It’s been a while since she dug this out from the back. “I have an elven archer I used for an event. Haven’t worn it in a while.” 

When it comes to dressing up she always was interested in costume parties and cons where people go all out. It’s just fun. Jade ducked into her bedroom. Searching through the closet, she also eyed a chest sitting on the floor. Might be some stuff in there but that’s for another time. “Here it is!” She showed off the green tunic. “Part of it anyway. I love mystical stuff. So elves are a fave. Fairies. We should do Lord of the Rings. That’d be perfect.”

I’m legit yessss that you’re fave is his regular main verse. That’s just him. That’s my Callum but I also have fun with the warlock and envy ones. He gets to be bad and an asshole in those. Otherwise he’s a golden good boy. I want to do more with Eros definitely.

Calsuka are the OTP you know it. I love them. I love all of his ships. He’s such a lady killer and has no problem being that lol

Birthday ask!

"Oh! I-" An unusual blush was forming on her cheeks. She really forgot her own birthday, probably because it was such an exhausting day at work. Daniela tried to pull her puppy eyes, but she knew that it never worked in her case. It caused more on an opposite effect, but she still tried on Lotus. "You are going to be mad at me but... I totally forgot that I had birthday today." Daniela scratched nervously her head. "How about we just stay at home. You and me, just laying all day naked in bed? With some nasi goreng? How does that sound? Since its my birthday..." She smiled and stole a quick kiss from her.

Yowling begged to interrupt the current task the android partook in the kitchen of his apartment. Their apartment sounds more appropriate. It took persuasion to convince Lotus to move in with him. She seemed to believe she would be in his way. Perhaps now it is obvious how he feels about their circumstance. Cooking dinner for her this evening is an example. 

He set out some tuna for the aforementioned distraction. Sixty enjoys felines. They are much better than dogs. However this particular one has been taking up her attention. A little too often for his taste. 

“Eat and leave us in peace,” he murmured, finishing up the lasagna. “You will not intrude this time.” Dinner and a movie here in the comfort of lavish decor is his goal for the evening. It is about time Lotus and he have alone time. Taking in an animal is much like caring for a child. Ren is needy for his lamb.
