— Though he will show you affection and love in many forms using many methods, he gives the absolute most quality time when it comes down to it. He loves to plan a day in where you two don’t leave bed and just ignore responsibility for the day. He’ll ensure that it’s on the day that you two actually aren’t busy— but either way, spending genuine time with you is one of his favorite things.
— Given his slight possessive streak that he’s working on, it’s only natural that his favorite thing involves something where he’s the sole object of your attention and focus. It’s not purely for his own benefit, though. While he isn’t one to speak on sleep schedules by any means; he definitely knows a thing or two when it comes to stress. If he notices that you’re particularly stressed out, he’ll intentionally plan a day where you two can relax and not worry about it all for a day.
— He wants to be able to make you feel comfortable and wants to be able to spend time with you to personally ensure that you’re allotted time where you aren’t stressing over work or anything of the like. It makes him happy to make plans for you both anyways! He has more free time when it comes to his own job and he enjoys doing something that he knows will make you happy. Personal attention is his forte.
— He will absolutely shower you in compliments and affection when you both spend time together. Phones off, forgotten somewhere in the room while you two lay together in bed and just talk the day away. He knows that he doesn’t always need to plan for anything special and that as long as your attention is diverted away from the things that worry you, then it’s a success. As long as he can ensure that you both get time together away from the duties the world demands from you, then it’s worth it. Even if it does mean disappearing from the server completely every once in a while, it doesn’t matter. They’re all used to Nightowl’s shenanigans at this point anyways.
— Plus, they know by now that it comes not from possession, but genuine love and worry on his part. They know that he’s looking out for you in the best way he can. Besides, it’s all the more worth it when he finally gets to see his favorite server member relaxed and happy by his side.

— Nightowl has felt a strong lack of support during a good majority of his life. His mom isn’t exactly the most supportive of his dreams and he’s been the class clown, butt of the joke for as long as he can remember. In his partner— you— he’d need plenty of affirmation and validity for his own personal assurance. He likes the safety in knowing that he can go to his partner about his interests and issues without worry of judgement or unnecessary haggling or advice— and he needs a good amount of affirmation to obtain that security.
— He often worries that he’s being too much, overly emotional, or that he may be looked down upon again. Sometimes, words isn’t what he wants to hear— this is why he requires plenty of physical affection. It shows him the love and adoration he desires without you necessarily needing to say it directly to him. That way, he can just quietly appreciate your presence without having to worry about lashing out or expressing all of the negative thoughts he’s going through. In the immediate moments of his stress, he appreciates physical intimacy.
— He loves cuddling with you in bed or just being able to lay against you in general— soft kisses and hugs are incredibly enjoyable for him. Sometimes he just needs to hear that someone believes in him and his decisions when it feels like the entire world is against him.

You tell him what he needs to hear when he needs to hear it and he appreciates that a lot. You provide unconditional love and support and you always assure him that he’s doing his absolute best on any given day. You assure him that having off days, feeling stressed or upset— it’s all okay. You’re here for him through thick and thin and hearing it from you makes him feel like as long as he has a support system in you, he’ll be okay.
— He definitely loves hearing lighter hearted things too outside of his troubles. Genuine compliments and confessions of love from you make his heart happy and gives him that warm, fuzzy, first time in love, feeling all over again. Sometimes when you whisper a random compliment or a spontaneous “I love you” it’ll leave him speechless in the best way possible. He never expects it, but it’s always nice to be reminded and it helps him keep you in mind. It makes him feel happy, but most importantly? It makes him feel loved and appreciated in a way he’s never had with anyone else before.

— When it comes to others, Quest loves to help out in whatever way he can. He’ll do what he can to assist others, and it’s how he expresses that he cherishes others without having to outright admit that. If he makes an effort to make your life easier, you can be pretty certain that he loves you quite a bit.
— He is typically busy. Between his job and managing the discord server— he doesn’t have a lot of time, so if he’s going out of his way to do things for you, it’s not because he just simply has free time, it’s because he wants to. He wants to make your life easier in whatever way he can, even if it’s something rather minute in nature. If it can make your day even a little better— he doesn’t mind.
— After you have a particularly stressful day, he’ll do what he can to assist. Whether that be keeping your space clean, running you a relaxing bath, making you food— whatever it is, he’ll do it without hesitation. Even if you just want to rest in his arms, he’ll comply if it means you’ll be more relaxed.
— He’s always been the type to believe that his actions speak far louder than his words. So when he’s able to show you that he loves you through his acts of service, it makes him happy. When you acknowledge and appreciate his efforts and express that you feel loved— he’s happy. Even if it’s subtle, like he seeing you smile when you notice he’s done something for you, it’s worth it for him.
— Of course, sometimes he does go all out to make you feel special. Preparing a fancy date night, a romantic night in— all of it is done with careful care and consideration so that when you return home, everything is already prepared for you both.

— Quest knows he’s changed and he knows he’s a good person now— but sometimes it’s hard to disconnect your current self from your past self. Everyone is prone to moments of insecurity and vulnerability, and this is something that happens to him.
— It’s why words of affirmation are so important to him. In his most vulnerable moments, he’ll ask if you’re truly happy being with someone who’s an ex-convict. He wonders if he can truly make you as happy as you deserve to be. You’re one of the few people who stuck around after learning about his record, and some days he questions as to why. He also can’t find it in him to stop you if you wanted to leave— but when you reassure him, it feels better. Grounding, in a way.
— Your words can help remind him that those invasive thoughts are just that. Invasive, and simply ideas floating around in his mind. You’ll never downplay his past experiences in being abandoned, but you always promise that you don’t plan to be a repeat of those situations. You love him and you know that he’s changed. You see it in his actions every day.
— He carries himself with kindness and generosity and he’s clearly learned and grown from his past. You tell him as much. Either way, past included or not, you love him all the same. — Xyx has got one hell of a stressful job, so he really appreciates being able to make plans and focus entirely on you as opposed to whatever may be going on at work. After all, you’ve always been the best distraction for him, haven’t you?
— While he definitely loves thrill-seeking with you at his side, he appreciates any time you spend together where all you’re focused on is one another. Seeing your mixed fear and excitement at the idea of skydiving with him is just as important as having you doze off on his chest when you’re sitting in and watching a movie with Cat curled up next to you both. He treasures both equally and appreciates that you tend to enjoy both just as much.
— He was once used to being alone with just himself and Cat, so now that you’re there, he’ll go out of his way to make sure you never feel the same. He ensures that when you spend time together, all of his attention is on whatever activity you’ve decided for the day and, more importantly, that his attention is on you (shared only with Cat, of course). He wants you to know that you’re incredibly important in his life so he carves out a portion of his schedule for you whenever he can. When free time opens up as well and he doesn’t particularly want to be alone, he offers his free time to you before anyone else.

He regularly graces the server with his presence so they don’t miss him too much— but sometimes it’s nice to give his time to “that person” in his life who he trusts most in the world. You helped him open up and he shows his love and appreciation by being comfortable in your presence and spending time with you.
— His absolute favorite way to spend time is honestly taking you on rides with him on his motorcycle. Feeling your presence behind him, fully relaxing against him and enjoying the wind is an absolute dream. Plus, it helps him realize that you hold full trust in him as well.
— Of course you both have your responsibilities, but making time for one another is always important. He knows that you can be especially busy, so he loves to know that he can help you destress by allowing you both to spend one-on-one time together. After all, you’re his favorite distraction. He cares for Cat and you both, but sometimes he feels like his work keeps him too busy and he’s upset that he can’t pamper Cat like he wants to, but when he sees you playing with Cat and giving them attention, it makes him happy and shows to him that you truly care.

— Sometimes when he’s online shopping, he finds small things that remind him of you. Every time this happens, he likes to buy whatever it is as a gift for you. It’s nice because that just solidifies to you that he thinks of you often, considering how often these cute little gifts tend to pop up. He can’t help it though. He loves you, so it’s only natural you’ll be in his thoughts.
— When he’s feeling more romantic, he’ll buy you flowers or chocolate. Cliche, I know, but it’s the thought that goes behind it that counts. He can spend hours in various stores just making sure that he gets you the absolute perfect gift. He wants you to like it— he’d hate for you to think that he just grabbed the first thing he saw. Of course not. His gift selection is custom tailored to what he knows you’ll like. That’s what makes it special each and every time.
— He’s definitely gifted you one of his jackets— honestly that one was not only because he knew you’d like it, but also because it makes him happy to see you in it. Nothing possessive or anything. He just thinks it’s cute and he does indeed favor cute things. It’d probably be your favorite gift of his, too. The Boyfriend Hoodie! But really, it’s meaningful to you because it’s one of his favorites and he’s entrusted it to you. Doesn’t get more personal than that.

Toasty is always making sure you get in bed at the proper hour and ensures that he’s there to help you fall asleep. He likes to pamper you, and he does. With both gifts and how he acts.
