Trailer Built
A few weeks ago I went to Blstik Trailers in Beenleigh and had a chat with Wayne about building a custom trailer. I decided to go down the custom route because I knew I'd get exactly what I wanted with no surprises.
The tray is 4.8m long and 2.04m wide. 70cm of the front is taken up by a floor mounted wheel rack with a jerry holder on each end.
The ramps are 2.4m long and live underneath. Unlike a lot of trailers, they slide out in the right direction; no need to flip them. It has electric brakes, with a controller mounted on the drawbar to avoid running extra wires through the car (and allow it to be towed by almost any car).
The trailer tilts, but I was by myself so I couldn't weigh it down and take a decent photo. I've already been asked by multiple people to tow their cars, so I'll get some action shots soon I'm sure.
Overall I'm extremely happy with the trailer. The build quality is exceptional and it's got everything I want right now.
