Seinfeld
The Seinfeld characters seem to live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, which would put them in NY-10, Jerry Nadler’s district. I feel like that could have been explored in hilarious ways.

Lawndale could be a lot of different places, but let’s look for some clues:
1: It’s overwhelmingly white, and upper middle class white kids go to public school.
2: The teachers are really liberal in a way that probably wouldn’t be tolerated in a heavily Republican area.
3: They’re close enough to an enormous mall for a field trip.
4: People care WAY too much about sports.
5: There don’t seem to be any major efforts to introduce theocracy into public schools.
I had originally thought based on various cultural things that Lawndale based might be in North Carolina’s 4th Congressional district, but I don’t think that any place in the South is as white as Lawndale is.
I would guess that Lawndale is located in Washington or Oregon. Possibly the 1st Congressional district of Oregon?
