i finally found a way to organize myself and give me dopamine!
Basically, im homeschooling, so i don't have teachers, i mostly just use online textbook, study guide and past lessons to study, which can feel pretty overwhelming. Especially when you don't have discipline, I basically never know when to study or even what.
Some days ago i was looking at a free MIT course (Literary interpretation: Virgina Woolf's Shakespeare) and the Syllabus of the course made me so weirdly happy
Each class, the plan of the class was written, and it helped me want to study and don't feel overwhelmed
So i started making my own syllabus (syllabi? ive no idea how to use this word fr) for every subject, i did one for history-geography, and for french.
Im now basically my own teacher and it makes me weirdly happy, ive homeworks, tests, ive class scheduled (from 30min to 4hours long), basically ive a plan, and im finally studying without feeling overwhelmed, because i dont have to be at my desk thinking "well what do i do now?"
I know its pretty specific and so wont be helful to anyone i suppose, but i just want you to know that you'll find a way, that goes for you eventually. and it may change, im not gonna lie to myself and think it's gonna work forever, ive adhd i know better, but as long as it last and work it's okay
I’ve been painting a lot more and I plan on selling these for 75$ each. Reblog and dm me for requests!
the things I've to do today
{-} add chap 1-3 bio on anki
{ } read and highlight the chapters
{ } read the activities in each chapter and make a mind map for each
{ } download the shows and movies my mother asked me to :/ (a lot of them) (2/8)
while retaking the year I'm taking a new subject (because one of the one I had last year was HORRIBLE for me), so basically I'm taking biology (but like it's harder because it's a specialty thing, anyway not the time to explain french school system)
the thing is in 10th grade I didn't study my biology at all because I didn't care, but I'll need the knowledge now. So I took my 10th grade lesson and now I've to study :(
the way im genuinely thinking about just not going to the 2 next days of exams, but I know I'll regret not going more than going like I don't have the energy to study for them, or to do them, but i prefer burning myself out, than not trying
im just so tired
I've exams on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (May 26th-28th)
and then in mid June (13th) and early July (2nd)
Monday is just one but it's a presentation at 8:30am and I'm not ready at all for it
Tuesday is 3 exams, there's the english exam that's gonna be easy, there's history/geography and well I'm not ready, and physic/chemestry/biology/maths this one I think I can do fine
Wednesday is spanish and philosophy and this one is gonna just be the death of me because I don't know ANYTHING at all about it and my spanish got bad after not using it for 2 years
Anyway I don't know how im supposed to go about that
