Anybody here tech savvy?
Especially about Apple products?
So I got a notification on my phone (Android) while I was in the drive-thru getting my dinner on the way home tonight. It told me that I had an AirTag in my presence, and that I was possibly being tracked. I took a screenshot before I got my food and nervously drove home, immediately looking up more info online as I ate. I do A LOT of stuff by myself in isolated areas, so the idea of someone tracking me for whatever reason was scary. I pressed the 'play sound' button, but it said the device was out of ranger OR had a new device ID. When I was done eating, I went back out to my car with a flashlight to look and see if I could spot anything attached to it. Nothing (though I do need to clean off my rear license plate; the cops around here are always stopping me for stupid shit like that).
But then I started paying attention to the screenshot. First detected at 5:03 this morning. I was feeding Chester at that time. Last detected at 8:18 tonight. I was feeding Chester at that time. I was also at the barn around 11 this morning to turn him out and feed him lunch. The map, which doesn't even follow a road for a lot of it, is in the Valley, where Chester's barn is. It's not anywhere near either of my workplaces or where I live (20 minutes from the barn). So...
I'm thinking someone left something at the barn that has the tracker on it and since my phone was near it more than once today, it pinged it. Does that sound logical?
