lmao good luck. I'll admit to never having seen it myself. (I think, before the whole Leto is a horrible coworker thing came to light, the fact that the trailer I saw showed him with knives 'delicately' arranged around him as he laughed was what my brain grind to a screeching halt, like what did the joker do that for hours just to look edgy or something? I died).
haha! tbh i’m quite linient with that sort of thing (it feels so ott/ridiculously joker in comic books to me) but oh god the execution was so bad. i don’t have anything against any of these actors (i didn’t even know about the leto thing) and i can appreciate they’re doing a whole new take/style with the joker, but i really did not like this version. it wasn’t fun or threatening (something that previous live action joker’s possessed in varying amounts that all worked for what their films were doing). but man this film... i do feel bad for some of the actors here. will smith was about the best thing about it and i think margot robbie could have been brilliant with better materiel...siiigh
i dunno maybe i’m too old for this new verse lmao but it all felt TOO EDGY 4 U and so contrived/forced with that attitude
