I don’t know if it’s a dialect, but I like that Caleb is the only Zemnian thus far who doesn’t pronounce 'th’ with a ‘z’ sound - I’m pretty sure every Zemnian NPC has, even when their accents are otherwise much lighter.
This episode made me realise I have a long-lasting headcanon that this slight difference in accent is specifically a regional, Blumental thing (as opposed to a Liam thing) - and the first time a person with a Zemnian accent says ‘the’ or ‘they’ (as opposed to ‘ze’ and ‘zey’), shit will get real.
