“Nothing,” the witcher said with pure honesty. He was just speaking his mind and he had wished to compliment her. Noticing her blush, Geralt cocked his head to the side a little. He didn’t think it would have that sort of effect on her.
The girl couldn’t remember the last time someone told her she was good looking. She hadn’t actually been called that, most of the time she was clad in her furs, or with her nose in a book to experiment on something new – or read her father’s new theories… or her father was around her (or some of his friends) and men usually kept heir distance. Geralt telling her that she was attractive was just… endearing.
“You hoping for some free herbs or something,” She laughs whilst trying to brush it off, “Or potions – because I’m telling you Witcher flattery won’t get you anywhere with me. You have to work for that sort of benefit.” She had come to enjoy Geralt’s company, but she had heard a Witcher’s reputation… and she had a bad enough one with the whispers that people gave about her own father.
