In the most recent BMAG chapter it mentioned Scala being different and how Molly wasn’t sure if it was trust or because of the dinner, so which was it actually? Or was it just a good mix of both?

It's understanding. Rook understands what Molly is going through having gone through it himself. Plus, and he would never admit to this without a fight, but Rook cares about her. He likes Molly and he loves being her friend. He'd protect her fiercely if anyone threatened her. She's his little sister now after all.

Rook and Molly's relationship is built on respect of boundaries, and a leap of faith and it's paid off so that it could move into being held together by respect, understanding, platonic love and a familial bond.

Will paradox be getting more “screen time”in upcoming chapters? I enjoy Gaster and Molly‘s relationship but whenever we get to see paradox and Molly together, it seems to be over before it starts. 

Well, right now the main relationship is Molly and Wingdings, so the focus is on them. Yes, Paradox will eventually get more one on one time with her, and it'll happen more than once, especially when they solidify their relationship, but right now they're not in an established relationship, so the priority isn't him even though they do have a budding relationship. He'll have his time, I just need to give Wingdings and her some time first since they've been apart from one another a lot and are in an actual relationship! In real life, you'd probably want to focus on your actual partner before worrying about someone you're seeing where things go with when it feels like you need time with a loved one. If that makes sense!

I'm glad people love Paradox as much as they do though! He's a character that means a lot to me, so it's always so wonderful that he's so loved.

In your Undertale fanon when did the war between monsters and humans happen? I can’t stop thinking about the possibility of Scala, Paradox, Wing Dings, and Akzidenz in other au’s and I can’t help but wonder if by their ages they either weren’t born due to the war or died because of it. I get that your story’s aren’t all interconnected but the possibilities of it just keep popping up in my head. Your non-skelebros skeleton oc’s are my favorites in the whole fandom and I’m obsessed.

The only ones who would've been alive during the war would be Wingdings and Paradox. Since there was no war in my versions of the Mafia AUs, this allowed for Akzidenz and Rook to be born. If a war had happened and Monsters had been sealed Underground, then Rook and Akzidenz wouldn't have been born. Paradox likely would've died with his family during the war.

...So it's a good thing that in the Mafia AUs that war never happened, right?

Hello, this is a question about Paradox and Scala, from Bedside Manners and Guns.

Did something specific happen that made Scala afraid of Paradox? Some bad interaction or event? Like, what made Scala definitively afraid of Paradox? Because why would the family hacker do something against him if he's also a lieutenant?

Paradox is much older than Rook, about 1400 years older, but that's not what makes him nervous, it just has him showing a little more respect toward him. What makes him nervous is that Paradox despite his injuries and eccentric tendencies, is an extremely powerful monster. Rook isn't stupid, far from it. He's wildly intelligent and he knows when he's outclassed and outmatched. He knows Paradox rivals his employer in terms of raw power and talent, plus Paradox's special ability spooks him a little bit. What makes things worse is that Paradox doesn't appear to be powerful, so you sort of find out on accident and imagine an expressionless person coming at you when fighting with such a cold calculation that it makes your heart stop. Adding on that Paradox is wildly unpredictable when fighting and is hard to read, making it difficult to fight him. That's what Rook faces any time he spars with Paradox.

Yes, Paradox makes Rook nervous, but he also holds a respect for the older, more powerful monster.

Would Gaster actually go tell Barrera about Prudence if she didn’t stop? And would Barrera then actually do something about it? I keep rereading that part and thinking about it

He absolutely would have. Wingdings is a vindictive person and he doesn't like someone who hurts someone he loves, even if that person is his girlfriend's sister.

As for Barrera, yes, he probably would have. Not because he likes Molly as a person (which he does, shh, don't tell), but because Barrera is an extremely family oriented individual. He loves his wife, he loves his daughter and his in-laws despite them not particularly liking him. His family means a great deal to him and the idea that someone who runs one of his companies might have thrown away their sister over an argument wouldn't sit well with him. Honestly, he'd find it rather repulsive unless it turned out said family member was extremely toxic and abusive, but he knows Molly. He knows she's not that at all, so it would definitely bother him.

This is probably a super dumb question but I’m going to ask it since I was wondering are windings and paradox in a rivals to lovers polycule with molly? I have to ask because with them being romantic rivals it confuses me, sorry if this is a really dumb question, thanks for reading and I hope you have an amazing week!

I don't believe in stupid questions! When a question is asked it's to gain information on something you were unknowledgeable in and there's nothing wrong in gaining more knowledge. We can't know everything, right?

So, currently right now, if they were rivals, Wingdings would technically be the winner since he and Molly are dating but she isn't dating Paradox. Clear winner there. It's why Paradox asked what he was to her because even he didn't understand where this was going since she's very obviously dating his boss now. It's why Molly mentioned wishing to date them both and Paradox offered to speak to Wingdings about it. So, yes, she will eventually end up with both of them. Was this the plan from the beginning... no, but did I run with it? Yes.

As for if Wingdings and Paradox will be a thing themselves and they'll all be one little happy dating poly... I am unsure. It's why there was such a break between chapters (posted in July then next in December) because I didn't know how I wanted to proceed on that front. Anyone I've bounced the idea off of seems extremely excited over the prospect of those two dating too, since let's be honest... Paradox is special to Wingdings even if he hasn't fully realized it yet. However, how special is yet to be determined.

Even though I shouldn't, I sometimes get nervous of negative voices who wouldn't be happy over this choice but at the same time, I myself am in a very happy poly situation. I would love that to be represented in media for others to read in a positive, healthy manner because they can be very loving and rewarding relationships. I love my partner and I love my metamour, both are special in their own way, and even though my metamour and I aren't dating, that's still a special relationship that requires attention and love. I just, personally, would love to see that represented whether as a triad poly or a v-poly... I just have to decide which.

How was Scala taking it when Papyrus broke down at the range? It says he had his back turned so we can’t really tell in the chapter, but I was curious

Everyone breaks down, everyone has a moment where things are overwhelming to the point where we break. It happens to everyone. Rook had his over his own injuries, mostly in private with Akzidenz but even with Molly he admitted he didn't think he was going to get better.

Rook knows this is a difficult time for Papyrus and would never shame or blame him for crying because there's nothing wrong with crying. It's mostly human society that seems to shame it, especially for men, but monsters are a little different. However, he knows how important being seen as the strong, stoic Left Hand is to Papyrus which is why he turned his back so he wouldn't see. It was him showing respect to someone he cares about and does in fact respect deeply.

Does Gaster ever regret getting Molly so involved in the mafia? Obviously she was already their medic, but he chose to bring her to the summit which ultimately introduced her to a lot more conflict. Since we know he complained about people trying to involve her, and that it scares him, so has he regretted that at all?

He does and he doesn't. He knows she's the best fit and that he can see how happy she is by being part of the Family, that she's found her place in life. Wingdings just wishes it didn't cost her so much. He hates her being in danger but he doesn't want her anywhere else but by his side. It's created a lot of complicated emotions.
