Okay so you know the preview for 3x20? I feel like it would be messed up for topanga to move them to london for her job when she and cory literally went through the same thing when her family moved to pittsburgh in bmw. Like, wouldn't she understand how painful that would be for Riley after going through that with Cory? It just seems out of character to me. It's not like she is struggling with her job now that she would have to move.
Yeah, that may be the lesson that comes out of it. Or Riley will pull a Topanga and run away to Maya. Topanga went to live with her aunt, maybe Riley will move in with Uncle Eric or something. He is supposed to be in 3x21, after all. I suspect 3x20 will definitely spill over into 3x21, just like when Topanga got offered the Elliot Brown internship near the end of BMW.
A Long Walk to Pittsburgh and Brave New World both seem to be heavily evoked by the preview. Not sure which way they’ll go with it. Is the lesson that Topanga needs to remember what it was like when she was sixteen and her parents moved, remember that her parents fell apart after that, remember how important it was her for her to stay with Cory and the life she had known? Or is the lesson the same as it was in the BMW finale, that if she stays where she is she’ll stop growing? Will Feeny be there to remind her of that, or to tell her that she needs to prioritize her family now, similar to his lesson in Graduation that she should only stay if there was something really important there?
Should be an interesting ride, one way or another.
