Let’s talk about La Brava’s laptop in chapter 180!! mainly, what she has plugged into it-
So! Judging by the antenna type (omni), and the size of the casing, it could be a wireless adapter of some kind!! but I don’t think so- if you check out what Wikipedia has for the list of ranges of wireless protocols in their handy-dandy table, you’ll see only 802.11g* has the furthest reach at 140m (460ft) outdoors! Suuuper unlikely unless she’s planning on going all the way next to UA’s walls...
(* 802.11n lists 250m(820ft), but those signals use MIMO, which basically means it uses more than one antenna.)
What’s most likely is that what she has is similar to a Crazy Radio✨ It’s a USB dongle capable of long range wireless transmission. Awesome for projects. Or hacking wireless mice (p cool). It’ll give her access to sending malicious radio signals... and how she knows what to exploit is definitely a sign of thorough recon!!
