Gods of New York // Pietro Maximoff A.K.A. Quicksilver | God of Protection
{Calling} Pietro has always been the protector. Since he was a child, he had always felt responsible for Wanda and had done anything, even things at the expense of himself, to ensure she was safe, fed, and as happy as they could be at any given time. But on the other side of the same coin, Pietro felt very much like a failure when it came to keeping them save. All the sorrow and heartache they still suffered, no matter how hard he tried, would stay with him forever. Being the god of protection comes with a price.
{Aura and Powers}
Shield: Pietro has kept his speed but can now project a shield like forcefield a la Sue Storm. At first, it sticks close to him, and if he can find the patience to work at the skill he could project it a fair distance.
Sword and armor conjuring: Pietro isn’t sure how it happened but since he was granted these powers the first time he flinched, afraid a bird might hit him while running, his body slowed but with the loss of speed came a sword and armor that felt as much a part of him as his own skin.
Protection at a cost: Pietro can fight for others, protect them with his shield and offensive powers but it comes at a cost. The injuries that Pietro sustains to his armor, he sustains to himself. Thanks to his mutant accelerated healing he’s in better shape to take it on than most, he’d say. The emotions of the encounter, he absorbs and will have to deal with later once the adrenaline has worn off.
Can sense danger nearby to run to.
Cannot run at his mutant speed while hindered by armor and sword.
{Appearance} Pietro’s looks haven’t changed much, save for his hair and his eyes, not a swirling silver metal looking color as if to reflect the amor that somehow resides in him now.
