👶 Were they raised in a fahrar? If so, what is their fondest memory of their time there? What is their worst? If not, where were they raised? Who raised them?
He was! His worst memory would have been when he was old enough to realise the stigma of being a gladium, when the insecurity of youth came crashing down on him and he feared a life of shame before he even had a chance to prove himself. His mother, who he adored, faced what seemed like unendurable dishonor. Of course she was a right battle-axe and was never in any danger of humiliation, but still it remains one of Boare’s fondest memories to look back on the time when all of his peers shucked their prejudice- following his lead.

His birth family has passed on bc he’s like 70, but he absolutely has cubs galore. He’d have a hard time remembering them all, so he accepts pretty much any young soldier as a grandchild at this point lmao.
Re: chosen family, I really want to give Hebrides a grandma centaur girlfriend,,,,, is that allowed 👀,,,,,, he lives in Kessex Hills and has a good relationship with a local herd, so much so that he's got a little cottage on their land and they don't mind him living and growing a little garden there.
🌈 What is their sexuality?
Boare is bi with a preference for women bc it's literally impossible for me to make a character that doesn't drink their Loving Women Juice. Besides charr he’s slept with humans and sylvari bc he insists on being the biggest boy in the bedroom, but asura would be right out lmao.
🍜 Favourite food?
Boare is a half-decent cook and he loves to bake enormous pies, absolutely stuffed full of roast meat and seasoned veges and thick gravy. The shortcrust pastry is thick as boot leather to survive long talons, but it’s baked golden brown and the light, buttery flakes to melt in your mouth. A crispy layer of fried cheese on the lid, aromatic herbs mixing with caramelized onions and mushrooms inside. A dollop of tomato sauce on the top if you insist (but he will judge you). He travels back to Ascalon for Meatoberfest every year and set up a stall just to sell ‘em, and they’re invariable a hit with charr and visitor alike!
⚙️💉 ⚱️ What do they think of each of the Legions? Did they join one? Which one did they join and why?
Back in his younger days he was a proud soldier for the Iron Legion, (I think that's what I chose, I can't remember his personal story details tbh) up to his forearms in grease, at the helm of a war-machine he's built with the sweat of his brow, strong enough to march through mud up to his hocks with a replacement engine strapped to his back. Blood legion were his brothers in arms and he disdained Ash. He’s got more respect for diplomacy now, but he can still be a bit sassy for old time’s sake.
👪 Do they know their sire/parents? What’s their relationship to them?
He never knew his sire as Urskine Blackmaul had been killed in battle shortly after Boare was born, but he was known to be a popular centurion in the Blood Legion. He was raised by his mother, who became a gladium roughly the same time her mate was killed. Salixa Thornbuck was too proud to ever feel shame for outliving her warband and seized a position as Primus, raising her son to honour every warrior no matter their fate. She was a hero to him and he owes much of his values and integrity to her influence.
💦❤️ What does their love/sex life look like, if any?
He might be long in the tooth but this old man hasn’t lost his bite yeehaw!! In his youth he was a hopeless romantic and delighted in sowing his wild oats, though by many standards he would have been considered quite vanilla. Now he’s had a few more years and experiences under his belt he’s much more open-minded, so much so that’s he’s become a brony apparently Boare get it together
