If you had to make a new support champ, what would you make them?

(driving for too long makes me overthink things and I thought you could have an interesting take on this. Also yes specifically support because it's been a while since the last one and I trust your expertise here)

Question so good it got me to log into tumblr on my laptop. I will say I am not considering game balance or what is healthy for the game or anything like that, this is me being self indulgent.

I think a tank/healer could be fun - we have Alistar, but his heal is in his passive, and I think it'd be fun to have a tank that can heal with the press of a button, so let's say a heal on the Q (Look I know Taric has a heal but the numbers are not good)

Movespeed is king in league of legends, so maybe an ability that gives an ally movespeed - and you know what, give it a long cooldown and give it a clensing ability as well. If Mel gets to have a reflect, I get to have a cleanse on my W, idc.

For the E, I'm thinking something like a slow, maybe an aoe that steals movespeed from an enemy - like Malphite Q but aoe - to make it easier to catch people.

Maybe a teleport ult so I can go help my toplaner as well

It'd be a very team-supportive champ that focuses on tanking and enabling allies rather than making plays yourself, and I think for their lore, they could be a Lunari who hangs out on Targon. They're not ready for The Climb yet, not sure if that is something they even want, but they've started to climb anyway, because that was better than constantly running away from Solari soldiers. And perhaps they run into Soraka and hang out and become friends but maybe that's too self indulgent of me LOL

You know what I want to know about the form they had the players do?

I wanna know the players' reasoning for choosing the teleport ult they chose. There are a lot of global mobility/teleport ults in the game (Ryze, TF, Shen, Galio, Pantheon, Nocturne and probably more that I'm forgetting) and I want to know why they chose what they chose

If we Occam's Razor this it's probably because they chose the first teleport that came to their mind, but that's not fun so I will go through the other potential explanations

Ryze ult: Not the biggest range, but can take your friends with you

TF: Has the biggest range I think? Don't quote me on that. Telegraphed when you teleport, but no restrictions on where you can teleport

Shen: Teleport to a friend, give them a shield. Global as long as your friend is on the map lol

Galio: Give your friend a shield, damage your enemies that are near your friend. Not fully global. Shen solos 💛

Pantheon: A bit of an entrance, good for those who like to show off, damage and slow enemies where you land. No restriction on where you can go.

Nocturne: Can only teleport to enemies within range, does damage. Honestly probably the worst of the bunch

Look I wasn't expecting Lehends AND Kiin together there, (I fear NS's current standings and the fact that they fucking BENCHED HIM ruined any chance Lehends might've had) BUT NO KIIN IS CRAZY WORK I'M SO SORRY WHAT????

Like... If you ask me... What are Zeus-Faker-Keria doing there. They already have military exemptions and there are other players who are just as good that should've been given a chance.

Like I get it, you want Keria there, especially if Guma's already locked in. Sure, I mean, there isn't a world in which Keria is a wrong choice

For Zeus and Faker though... I just don't see a reason why they should be there? And I'm not trying to discredit them, they are amazing players and we know this, it's just that if they win it'll just be one more title and not much more for them, when it could've been a military exemption for Kiin and/or Showmaker (tho I will admit Showmaker at least is on a similar boat with Lehends given his team's overall success)

No Kiin is just wild tho. What the hell.
