Coconut Cake Tonight
Coconut Cake is playing tonight at BoBo Gallery!
This groovy ensemble, led by Michael Libramento, plays vintage Congolese rumba. Other players are Evan Martin on drums, Jacob Rodriguez on sax, David Mack on bass, Seth Kauffman on guitar (I think) and me on maracas. Can't lie, I'm very stoked to be playing with these talented cats.

I'm gonna concentrate my face off to stay in the pocket.
The show starts around 9:30 pm.
Opening for Coconut Cake will be Seth and Michael's dub reggae group, Lord King.
