Me and my friend have these cute moments where we just have to go to another class and she says "Wait, I'll follow you." and then I'm like "Will you follow me one last time?" and then we both stand there sobbing in the middle of the class room and everyone looks at us as if we're insane
I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THE FOREHEAD TOUCHES.
Galadriel in BOFA <3 (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
All is pain. I am stepping into bagginshield tag for more pain and some sort of consolation.
that's it: i've seen BOFA.
it doesnt premiere in poland until 25th, but i went to a special hobbit marathon showing and, at 3.30 am today i've seen it
!!!
i'm going to try and type up my impressions at some point, providing internet opportunities will arise. and i'll be reblogging BOFA feels now, with appriopriate spoiler warnings.
non-spoilery comment: i really thought an event like that will be mostly fans, but there seemed to be equal number of ppl who just wanted a group outing opportunity, or a chance to catch up on a franchise after missing the second movie. good for them, but i missed the atmosphere a more fannish event would have
i kinda attempted a hobbit attrie, not terribly succesfuly, and i think i spotted a couple elves. there really wasn't time to mingle - the breaks were short and spent in line to the bathroom.
there were sniggers at the most pathos filled moments of the ending, and it kinda ruined the emotional impact for me, even as, at certain moments, i found myself agreeing with the peanut gallery. but i was in an exhausted overcaffeinated state where half my brain was already "applying fic" to what i was seeing, so there's that.
tl;dr: i've been to the Battle of Five Armies and lived!
I am back from Bofa. I am barely alive.
Was anyone else so nervous before BOFA? I am going to marathon and I don't feel prepared. I've waited for this film for so long and now I am hella anxious.
