The magical world of short films / Part IV
Bogoshorts / Bogotá Colombia
For 10 years, from 2003 to 2012, BOGOSHORTS was shown under the names of In Vitro Visual and the International Festival In Vitro Visual — FIIVV, focused on supporting the dissemination and promotion of the short film in Colombia through a project that reached around 19,000 spectators in each edition, presenting the best of Colombian and international short films.
In 2013 the festival changed its name to Bogotá Short Film Festival / Festival de Cortos de Bogotá — BOGOSHORTS, obeying the need to position the city on the international festival circuit and expand its impact on the promotion of national short films. The festival has since reached an annual impact of more than 30,000 people in past editions, among the general public, youth and people belonging to the audiovisual sector of the country and the region.
