Bold and Daring || Jim & John
While not in a frenzy, John was still rather worked up. He had never intended on entering his name in the cup--especially after lecturing Michael on how awful of an idea it was. This was easily the stupidest thing John had ever--or would ever--do. But, this man had insulted his pride! What did he mean, "people like you"...!? People like John were smart, they knew when it was a bad idea to do something! They were smart enough to see that the odds were not in their favor! People like John lived, unlike people like...whoever it was he was with. Just the thought of it was getting him all worked up again, which was the last thing John wanted considering he had just denied being someone who was easily riled.
"Are you really only doing this because it sounds fun?" He gave the other a sideways glance, forcing himself to jut out his chin as if he wasn't afraid of being chosen, forcing himself to look confident when he wasn't. "Are you also the type who would jump off a bridge for the same reason?"
