BTS w/ Bold Beardsmen

Ever since I started photographing bearded men, I’ve been getting a lot of love from other brands and supporters of beard culture. Over the past weekend I was invited to meet and talk beards with men’s grooming and lifestyle brand, Bold Beardsmen [BBM].

The trip there was exceptionally difficult that day. Not only was it raining, but there was a traffic cop on every neighboring street in manhattan directing the 2 mph traffic further and further away from my destination. To make matters worse, my bladder was heavier than Rasputia and I had to GO! Badly! 

Two hours later, a parking spot only God himself could have opened up, and a random deli bathroom stop, I walked the seven blocks to the quaint little tailoring studio where I met with BBM co-founder, Neville. 

I was greeted by a friend who connected us at the door and brought up to the tailoring workspace. They were shooting some video footage showcasing Mack Moze of Rogue Tailors doing what he does best for their upcoming project. 

Neville was really kind, clean cut, well-spoken and good-looking too , ladies! I also got a chance to connect with their videographer and model for the day. Overall, the meet-and-greet went well and I hope to collaborate with the brand soon. I see them doing great things in the future and I want in!
