Napoleon's war horse by Horace Vernet
A new illustration I've shown you in my Commission sheet. It's about Napoleon and Josephine reconciling after his return from Egypt. It's an addiction to my old videogame project and would be a continuation of the Good Ending, which is also the true one.
The one in the mirror of the jewelry box is Lucien Bonaparte, who came to his brother's place one morning to discuss political matters (and his incoming divorce with Josephine) and discovered the couple "in a state of unmistakable, total reconciliation". I may have probably drawn something tamer than what he actually saw.
This is the first version!
