DREAMERS IN THE HOSPICE: BREAKING THE WALLS (Trailer)

Long-Feature documentary film directed by Roberto Nino Betancourt & Arturo Roa. Produced by Bonapasti Producciones (2009).

J.T. Borda Mental Hospital in Buenos Aires Argentina, is a place abandoned by government and society, causing constant violations of human rights. The main character is The Frente de Artistas del Borda (FAB). An experience that was born more than two decades ago, that promotes alternatives that improve the life quality of patients with mental illnesses, producing art as a tool of social transformation.Throughout the personal statements of the interns, a plot seeking to change the social imagery concerning mental health is built.

SUMMER BREEZE

Artistic montage short film made in collaboration with Home Movies and Mediateca Santa Teresa (Milan, Italy).

The golden sand caresses our feet, cleansed by the emerald foam for the first time. The red boat sails along the soft wind towards the infinite. There was a time, when we played together and would not want to go back home. A ritual, that remains in our memories. We were children discovering the world.

METAMOOD

Inspired in the theater play “The rise and fall of the city of Mahagonny” by Bertold Brecht.

Jenny is a nomad girl of the night, who arrives from the desert into the town of Mahagonny, with the illusion of starting a new life. There she will meet Paul, a mysterious man who infatuates with her. Together, they will endure the arrival of a typhoon that will determine their fates.
