Gaz leaned against the rail to keep his weight off of his ankle. Of course he’d be the one to catch his foot in a hole and twist it. The ankle was now swollen and purple, not the best looking ankle he’d ever seen. Gaz knew that someone ratted him out to McCoy, otherwise, she wouldn’t have tracked him down.

“Just wrap me up or whatever you have to do,” he told her. “You can tease me about it later.”

❣ - Who is their favorite coworker?

Joobs’ Job.

There is a lot of affection in her reserved frame for Lara McCoy, her sister in both height and reservedness. Both are somewhat of odd ducks in the 141, one a medic and the other an intelligence officer, but they both have a like for spirits and keeping up appearances. She’s fond of others in their own ways -- she admires Ros, she always has fun with Roach, Riley pushes her to be a better person, Malcolm is great to just sit and chat with -- but she feels a sincere camaraderie with Lara.

A runner-up would be Finnegan Murphy in Section D, without a doubt. They’re thick as thieves and at each other’s throats as siblings do.

You love Lara like a sister, right? What would you do for her? What wouldn't you do? Would you protect her against anything? Even herself?

When she first rolled into the 141, she was one of the first women we had here. And shit, that got some of the boys all riled up and got the rest of us fucking excited. I mean shit, being in the military isn’t always the best way to meet chicks, y’know? And then this woman shows up who’s kinda a hardass, but has a body like looks like it was carved outta marble. Man, I pulled out every stop in the book to try and get in her pants back in the day.

We shared a very drunken kiss, right before she decided to throw up on my shoes. But honestly? Lara is so much more to me now than that woman I wanted to fuck. I mean, she’s still just as beautiful, still doesn’t fuckin’ see it herself even though I make it my business to fuckin’ tell her. By trying to charm her, I actually got to know her really well, saw this fuckin’ badass lady who is tough as nails underneath it all. She’s an inspiration, intelligent, strong, almost scarily athletic. The woman benches as much as I do for Christ’s sake.

She’s my sister in every meaning of the world. I’d do anything for her, anything to protect her, not that she exactly needs me to. And damn, I know she’d do anything for me too… because man, that’s just what family is all about, right?”

Who doesn't Julia trust and why?

This is such a curious question to me, because Julia’s grasp on trust is... Weird. Even people she dislikes she might still trust, depending on the situation. For example, she is not fond of Rose Dawkins, but can also admit that they are on the same team and would likely have each other’s mutual interests at heart, thus affording her some level of trust. For that reason, I would say she trusts most of the 141, as well as others she has made alliances with.

At the same time, it’s very shallow. she knows the moment her real loyalties are revealed, she’s boned. She’s totally boned. Trust no one full tilt paranoia mode. I will say she’s less likely to trust her criminal contracts -- the likes of Makarov -- over her more law abiding allies. No honor among thieves, and all of that. For the highest bidder, every one of them would sell her out for clemency.

Basically, for the most part, she has common interests as a point of trust over anything else. If you strip that from a relationship, or you stand to gain from outing her as a traitor, there will be significantly less trust on her end than compared to others she’s interacted with.
