I just read your "booger wall" post. I never did that when I was a kid. I had two daughters before I had my son, booger stayed in tissues or on sleeves, but gross but I can deal.... The other day my son, who is five, confessed he has been wiping his boogers on a lovely tapestry I have hanging in our hallway. On close inspection, my tapestry is indeed covered in boogers. It's a boy thing. Boys are gross. Xx
Your son has re-contextualized your tapestry; he’s transformed it from an ornamental artwork into a hankie. He’s like a Banksy (Hanksy?) for your home.
Boys are gross. But I also know a five year-old girl who has a habit of eating boogers. Not sure if a “Booger Tapestry” is grosser than that…
Booger Wall
Sometimes when I'm feeling down about being a parent, I think about how lucky I am.
For instance, I haven't discovered a booger wall like I had when I was a kid. You know, a wall where you put your boogers like you're some kind of sick animal.
Yep, at least she doesn't have a booger wall.
Jane Levy was on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson last night, talking about the booger wall she had as a child, lying about ice skating and pooping in India.
Can she be any more adorable?
