Book and Frame
I just kennaaaaaatttt I criiii asdfghjkl
I’m seeing so many pics of the scene where Frame pushes Book on the bed in ep 6 of Make It Right. From the time Frame opens the door till the scene cuts away, Book never agrees to anything. I feel like people are romanticizing rape and find it very disturbing.
I understand the situation with Tee and Fuse. There were times when I was young and sad that, under the influence of alcohol, that I probably never would’ve if I had been sober and in a better place emotionally. Now, I don’t regreat those choices because it taught me a lot about myself. I think at the time, even though Fuse, was very drunk, he still consented. Now, his awareness/understanding of what he consented too is a different kettle of fish. Tee’s reaction and statement, “last night you were really into it”, leads the viewer to think tat he was an active participant.
Book was not drunk and later claims that he said no many times. IMO, that makes the two situations very different.
I like Make It Right The Series because it reminds me of when I was younger. I appreciate a series centered around gay characters aimed at a younger audience with young actors. I think there should be more series like this to help people learn about and accept themselves. I just wished the whole Book Frame situation didn’t happen they way it happened.
