One surprise read was actually the time traveller's wife. I wasn't a fan of the format of the book at first but i ended up loving it towards the end. It happened to my favourite read of 2016 too. I do have one other question actually, Do you remember your first time reading Harry Potter?? Who was your favourite character then? Has it changed since?
Arnna: I actually really want to read that too! I liked the idea behind the movie but I thought a bit might have been lost in the adaption, so I am glad to hear that you like the book! I vividly remember the first time I read harry potter! I am old enough that I pretty much had to wait in between every book for the next to be released! it was torture!! My school librarian played the Stephen Fry Audiobook version for us one day when she was trying to quieten down some rowdy students and I was hooked from “Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much.” Lupin and Luna have always been favorites for me, but I used to like Sirus a lot more when I was younger, I think teenage Arnna would have tried to date him.
Alice: Teenage Arnna would have been too much for Sirius to handle! I’ve always loved Luna and Hermione. They are both badass women for very different reasons. I also have become less of a fan of Dumbledore, the manipulative git, over the years.
Jule: I read the first four books pretty much back to back and then had to wait for the rest to be published. They had me hooked immediately. Hermione was an instant favourite, as were Lupin, Sirius and Dumbledore. Since then, I have grown to like Neville and Luna a little more than Hermione. And like Alice, I have also changed my mind about Dumbledore. But the Marauders have remained a constant favorite.
