"Bookworm Adventure, the hidden gem of Pop Cap"
You all remember Bookworm Adventure, especially its sequels and spinoff. If you don't know about it here's a summary:
A worm has to rescue an oracle, beating enemies by spelling words. It was cool and fun at the same time. So many characters that based by mythologies, folklores, fairytales and sci-fi characters.
Heck! They also had two characters that based on real life people.
But unfortunately, like many tales. This game was slowly forgotten and never get to see light again, there are still people remembers it; others heard it but never get even to play. while there are people forgot about it.
And it makes me wonder, does any of you all play this game? If yes, what's your greatest experience while playing it?
There are games that are the same with Bookworm Adventures, player had to spell so they can beat their enemies yaa daa daa.. But Bookworm Adventure had something that sparks my interests in this games is the creativity of it, there games that related to it but most them were fantasy and castles. But Bookworm was creative when it comes from making enemies most of them were based by characters in stories
Like this for example (Sorry if it was low quality..)
And they also had real-life people
Whenever, I played this games it reminds me of the time that me and cousins used to played this game. My greatest gaming experience were the time that I almost got killed by Medusa, there also my least gaming experience was I get killed by the Reaper many times and I hate it.
It was such a shame that the game like this just been forgotten as time passed on even the creator of the game PopCop itself seems to forgot about it. The game had potential, but it was better while it was last.
Despite being forgotten and never been mentioned again it was a great and fun experience, I would like to recommend you guys (maybe not all) to play this. I tell you all it was fun to enjoy it.
