Driftwood is one of those materials that straddles the line between beautiful and eerie. Wood that falls in the ocean is stripped bare by the water, eroded to a smooth touch until it washes back to shore. The Driftwood boot toppers use cables to mimic the weathered branches and roots that twist up and out from waterfronts across the world.
I knit my pair up with Sonder Yarn Co.’s Sunday Morning DK in the colourway Offline. The design needs approx. 150 - 190 yards of DK weight yarn.
The pattern is written for four adult sizes, and can be found on my website and Ravelry!
