Technopreneurship on the 5th week. We the 5th year and 4th year students including us (Team Happy Helpers) experienced the two days booth camp on July 22 and 23. Students from different colleges joined the event. This event has been helpful in our subject for we were able to learned how to make a slide decks and we were taught how to deliver a 3 minutes pitch.
As part of the said event, each team is necessary to pitch their respected idea for a venture. So our team prepared on the things needed for the pitching activity which happens to be a pitching competition. Christmary and I are assigned to make the slide decks. Thus, we did some research such as who our competitors are and how they operate. While our team CEO, Cliff will be the one to pitch. It is a nerve-racking activity for we are about to experience pitching in front of the juries. After the pitch, the juries gave their comments to our idea. And Sir Pascua gave us a better suggestion that instead of have a broad idea or offering a number of services, why not focus in one service like tutoring.
I considered the event a good thing to experience. For in experiences, we learned.
