A.I. generated action figure!

For this project, I employed several different AI systems and models to create the concept from start to finish. I tried to let AI have as much influence as I could, imagining a future where autonomous factories churn out iterative garbage, collecting human feedback to adjust its output. So inspiring.

It started with my prompt to ChatGPT, asking it to describe the overall concept. (I appreciated it calling me a mysterious manufacturer with questionable ethics.)

Then I copied the description of the figure into DALL-E to generate a visual representation. It totally pulls off the hot pink boots.

I used an AI model called "PIFuHD" to convert the static image into a 3D model, which I then sent to another AI system called "my brother who owns a 3D printer" to have it printed in cheap plastic.

For package design, I still had to do a lot of the work myself to achieve some level of coherence. But I tried to use DALL-E and Midjourney images as inspiration, to keep the same general feel they came up with.
