Borboleta Island Week 4 (2/2)

Changed the exterior of my house (again) to get some more Nook Miles 

Using the guide, I was able to get an S rating from the Happy Home Academy

I love the little interactions with the villagers (and getting free stuff from them)

This is the first tarantula to spawn on my island

Borboleta Island Week 8

These are the last couple of screenshots from my now gone island (fuck Nintendo for not letting you transfer the New Horizons save data to another switch), I’m gonna keep doing the acnh diary challenge with my new island which I’ve named Butterfly Island.

These are my last OOTDs, I’m gonna miss having so many clothes

I collected some more recipes, I got the last fence recipe I needed to collect

The last reactions I learnt, the Confidence Reaction requires you to have a high level of friendship with an Uchi villager

Roald visited the campsite and I wanted him to stay but he wanted to move out Deirdre so I had to let him go

Fuchsia got sick so I gave her some medicine

And I visite the museum to check out the layout of the art I had donated

Borboleta Island Week 4 (1/2)

Another week, another fashion challenge with Label, this time the theme was gothic

I like to change my characters outfit everyday because there’s so many options in this game and because most of my bells go to the Able sisters

I payed off my final house loan (only to get the free exterior upgrades) and unlocked the Nook Shopping app which I didn’t know was a thing

I found the last fossil needed to complete the exhibit

And I caught the last 2 fishes to get my critterpedia up to date

Sly seems to be the only one regularly teaching me reactions

Borboleta Island Week 5 (1/2)

There was a new update this week which introduced Leif and nature day. Since the update came out I’ve had Leif visit  3 times and I’ve been able to buy roses and cosmos which were the only flowers I haven’t been able to get from the Nook Shop or by visiting other islands.

Redd also appeared on my island twice which meant I was able to get the museum upgraded.

Benedict is the first villager that I’ve allowed to leave by their own free will

I invited Vivian to move into my island as I have too many normal types and was missing a snooty villager

And I also invited Claude to come live in my island as I needed a replacement lazy villager and moved out Tammi

Wisp visited my island 3 times this week (which I didn’t know was possible)

And Label visited for another fashion challenge, the theme being a party outfit which she gave me a business suitcoat to help me pick an outfit

I finall popped 300 balloons and got a golden slingshot but it took 3 days for a golden balloon to spawn on my island

I also had a double rainbow appear in my game

Borboleta Island Day 1

I reset once to get a different map and I forgot to take a screenshot of the character customisation but she doesn’t look the same anymore

I was so happy to see Fuchsia was one of my starting villagers as she was one of my favourite villagers and I also got Sly who I’ve never encountered before

I wasn’t planning on putting any villager houses on the beach but I hadn’t unlocked bridges or pole vaults so couldn’t place it on the other side of the the stream so I’ll relocate them when I have that feature unlocked. So I put my tent on the beach next to the airport and Fuchsia and Sly on the bigger patch of beach past the airport.

Then I fished a lot and caught a lot of bugs and did a lot of things and managed to pay off my tent and upgrade to a house

And managed to donate enough fishes and bugs to unlock Blather’s tent

After I realised how slow/time consuming it was going to be to unlock all the tools I time travelled and played an in game week but to avoid spoilers I’m not going to post everything now to respect the people that would rather not see it

Borboleta Island Week 2 (1/2)

Another eventful week has passed, I finally met C.J. and I’ve officially started saving up all my fish to sell to him exclusively (also Flick and C.J. are boyfriends confirmed?).

Also, I finally caught a sturgeon which means I’ve caught all the fishes leaving in March.

I got a new islander, Merry, but have managed to get Fauna back and move Rasher out.

I unlocked the exterior decoration from Tom Nook and I hope in the future they add more exteriors and letter boxes as the selection is quite limited compared to New Leaf.

I unlocked reactions and I kinda miss collecting them from Dr Shrunk and watching his little stand up shows.

I’m starting to complete more and more fossils and it’s been really nice to see the museum fill up with things I donated

The magic wand is my new favourite tool in the game but I don’t like how using an item in a magic wand outfit makes it unavailable in the wardrobe.

I added more bridges and inclines to my island but I don’t think I’m gonna add any more

Animal Crossing New Horizons Island Diary Challenge

Decided to try out @figport Island diary challenge. The unique tag i’ll be using are #nuggetplaysnewhorizons and #borboletaisland. I’ll be posting daily screenshots on twitter and doing daily/weekly/multiple times a week (depending on how busy work keeps me) posts on tumblr in the form of a sort of diary. My goals are to document the development of my island and just to be more active in the AC community again. To countdown the rest of the days I’ll be posting some pre-launch planning stuff to count down to game launch.
