like. it's partly inspired by all the potential ways ranson could go? like i just think there are so many possibilities with them, so many universes they could exist and be weird in, so Borrowed Time is me going "hey so. why not all of them lmao" and jumping around potential alternate realities a bit
but like. as i've spoken about very recently it can scare me a little how... passionate! people can be about their chosen headcanons! people can be very protective of them and sometimes it can come out a little strong! like i like to think of Borrowed Time as a celebration of the fandom's creativity but i think there's a real chance i could severely piss someone off with it lmao. like. there's going to be contradictory interpretations of ranson in this, it's unavoidable, it's by design
but idk. i'm gonna focus on having fun with it! just like i did with my other longfics and i think they turned out alright yay ✨
