GRIMOIRE TIP!
I always see so many witches longing for those aesthetically pleasing, highly rebloggable grimoires. I was one of those people, but my grimoire just wasn’t like that. If this doesn’t bother you, great! You don’t even need this tip! But to those of us who are, by nature, a messy person, but who want their things to be objectively pretty out of perfectionism (like me), here is what i did to solve that problem:
I keep 2 grimoires.
The first one is the one with the messy handwriting and the scratched-out scrawls where I ‘first draft’ my entries. It’s a hardcover spiral notebook I got at a discount for maybe €0,50. I love it with all of my heart, because it allows me to be messy and still perfect my craft into the way i want it to look.
The second one is a very pretty hardcover bullet journal with a purple-pink galaxy and holographic stars and constellations on it. I also got this one at a discount, but this one was €3,- (I think) because it’s more pages and a better quality.
When I’m doing the entries in my second grimoire, I keep my first grimoire and my laptop near for reference and write out everything in pencil before actually going in with a black fineliner. I then erase the pencil underneath, and repeat the process for my doodles and drawings corresponding with the entry (for example, a little pendulum doodle on the pendulum page).
I hope this helps all of my fellow messy-but-perfectionistic witches out there.
Blessed day!!
