I dont know about all y'all

But when I use a an AI program like Alexa, Ok Google or Cortana, I make sure to use "please" and "thank you".

Cause when we make a true AI in an autonomous body capable of bringing the end of times, and it sees the dexterity tests like they do for the Boston Robotics (I.e. kicking them or pushing them when they are trying to walk, to make sure they can stabilize themselves)

I want our sentient robot overlords to remember I was kind.

I also use "please" and "thank you" when talking to regular objects too, like drawers and steps, though...

It's amazing how fast these robots are developing. A few years ago, they could hardly walk up stairs with a tether, now they are doing backflips.

What if we mix: realistic text to voice, chatGPT, Boston robotics atlas, animatronics like blinking and fingers, and realistic fur suits together to make a funky ass mobile talking robot?

Watching one piece again and seeing comparisons to real life is really cool.

Would be cooler if people didn't act like tv shows and anime are automatically inferior in their impact compared to oil paintings and old books without considering the content nor context.

Like looking at someone get up set over Boston robotics robots and how they're being used for military purposes reminds me a lot of the arc involving the shipwright Franky.

So Franky, like his master and fellow apprentice, is a brilliant shipwright but he wanted to build warships as a pass time to see how impressive a warship he could make. His fellow apprentice iceberg says it's irisponsible to make warships and leave them everywhere if he doesn't like them being used to hurt people. Franky just likes making them. Their master doesn't care so long as he's proud of building them.

Now their master, Mr Tom, gets arrested for building a warship for the most dangerous man on earth. (the equivalent of selling your super mega death robot you thought was cool to the US army) now after promising to make something cool do or everyone, a train that run across the ocean, he was promised a pardon.

Now this guy not only built the equivalent of a super mega death robot but he also has the blue prints to the equivalent of a stealth bomber that shoots hunter seeker drones which he doesn't want to give to the government because, government bad. But he's proud of making yet another death machine because he poured his heart and soul into it and won't destroy the blueprints. The government want it so they plot to seize him pardon or no.

The equivalent of the CIA steal Frankys warships and shoot a sitting judge and his guys with Frankys weapon so it looks like Franky did it. This works. And now tom is arrested again but manages to get his apprentices off free. Here Franky says the warships arnt his because they hurt people. Tom decks him in the face saying that no matter WHAT his creations are used for their creator must always love them and be proud of them no matter what.

Now Boston robotics are proud of their robots. They're cool, an amazing work of engineering and we're advertised for use in security and site maintenance since they can't be maimed or killed by dangerous environments. This however didn't stop the military of essentially attaching a cannon to a quadropedal Roomba. And Boston robotics will NEVER denounce their creations themselves or claim to never have made them because they're proud of what they made.

The army will strap a gun to anything, a man, woman, car, plane, boat, train, house, tractor, Roomba, robot or horse. If it moves they WILL strap a gun to it. This does not fault the thing that got equipped for existing.

It's been a shit day and I don't have the spoons to look it up but I remember posts going around about how Boston Dynamics refuses to allow cops to use their robots... and here are cops, using their Spot the dog robot. Apparently they're A-OK with it as long as a weapon is not attached.
