I just want this series ending with none of them being friends anymore. That would be poetic cinema
our farm adventure today to put a new deer blind in. we walked around, hung out in the old blind, and got a lot of work done.
the boys were so good they got off leash time to romp around in the field.
Woohoo! We did our longest hike so far at York River State Park! My parents, and one of my other dogs joined us for 3.15 miles today on the third park I chose for Trail Quest.
Our hike today was the Taskinas Creek Trail; a gorgeous and steep walk covering marshland and hills. Kai and I walked to all 5 lookout areas and took in the breathtaking marsh views! Near the end of our walk the birds started coming out to forage, we saw a lot of cardinals and bluebirds. My favorite part of this trail was walking right next to the creek. In my area we don't get a lot of snow so it was nice to still see some on our walk. Kaiser had a blast going up and down the landscape- we live in an incredibly flat area so it was nice to get some practice in before heading to other state parks with higher elevation.
I have many more pictures from this awesome trip, and even more memories. This trail kicked my butt, even Kai is still napping- it was so worth it though! I really am too tired to type more so here's some more pics!
side note: his jacket is ill-fitting because it's not his 😅 i'm buying him a well-fitted one this week, it was just so cold i didn't want him to go with nothing.
Utter bullshit
This sign is in Cambridge Massachusetts, which could not be any more malicious and intolerant of small businesses. They over tax, they over regulate, they block roads on the slightest excuse, they constantly ban parking and even when they don’t they over charge at meters and viciously enforce expired meters... this city does all it can to raise a businesses cost even as it drives away customers.
The city of Cambridge HATES small businesses. And to add insult to injury they lie their asses off, pretend that they tolerate the small & independent business.
No chance what so ever...
Here's a fun fact about me every summer since I was like 5 my family drives to a different baseball park in the country but I hate baseball so the good times are usually limited really the only "good time" I've ever had at a baseball park is Fenway because it's beautiful
It's official. This time on October 14 I will be on my way to NYC, baby! ♥
