Bottle Top Bill but he owns a bottle-o and calls it Bottle-O Bills
coburg, 4 june 2025
Sometimes I complain about abbreviations because why not just say the word/s, but then I remember I'm Australian and have no right to complain
To truly understand Australian culture, all new citizens are required to understand our customs...
do other countries not have drive-thu alcohol stores or is that just an Australian thing?
The wraps come off four more Supercars
First up is the yellow, sorry YELLOW, Preston Hire Racing livery emblazoning the#18 Holden which Lee Holdsworth will again share with Karl Reindler in the Pirtek Enduo Cup.
"It’s great to reveal the car with the team and all of our sponsors, the yellow is seriously bright and looks awesome. It won't be hard to spot the Preston Hire car on track." -- Lee Holdsworth (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Mark Winterbottom has revealed the refreshed The Bottle-O Falcon he will be piloting for 2017, hoping to reclaim the #1 plate.
After a disappointing year as reigning champion that saw him slump to sixth in the standings, Winterbottom reverts to the #5 that he campaigned from 2006-2015.
A muted, now Avocado green The Bottle-O livery features striking green wheels, replacing the black used last year.
"You won't be able to miss me out there this year The car looks great with the green wheels in particular. It really is a mean, green machine this year. I'm definitely hungry to go out there and put wins on the board. I'm proud to be representing so many great brands again this year, particularly long-term supporters in The Bottle-O. We got a couple of wins for them last year but a few more this year would be good." -- Mark (Frosty) Winterbottom (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Tim Slade will enter his second year at Freightliner Racing with a new look for 2017.
The Virgin Australia Supercars Championship driver will look to add to his two race wins in a striking silver, white and red Brad Jones Racing prepped Holden Commodore.
"I’m probably looking forward to the first few races more so than normal, I obviously understand the car and the setup a hell of a lot better 12 months on. It’ll be good and I’m looking forward to building on everything we formed last year and having that continuity there." -- Tim Slade (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
Nissan Motorsport has revealed the second of its 2017 liveries ahead of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship test in Sydney on Tuesday.
Following the unveil of Simona de Silvestro’s Harvey Norman-backed Altima, the team has launched Michael Caruso’s refreshed Nissan Nismo entry.
This year marks the third that Nissan has run a car in its factory colours, while Caruso is entering his fifth season with the Kelly family owned squad.
The #23 Altima has been launched sporting increased backing from car care brand Autoglym, which fills the bonnet.
Caruso scored Nissan’s second ever Supercars victory midway through 2016 en route to 10th in the championship and is hoping to make the most of the category’s new tyre this season.
"I feel that this is going to be one of the most competitive Supercars seasons on record, the new tyre regulations are going to test the teams. We could see a bunch of new winners in the opening rounds as everyone gets their head around the different compound. Nissan Motorsport is as prepared as we can be and I can’t wait to cut some laps on the new tyres at Sydney Motorsport Park." -- Michael Caruso (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});
as an 18 year old Australian, there is no better feeling than walking into the bottle-o and not being asked for ID
