1. What is one book you think more people should read?

Just ONE? The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle.

2. One movie or show more people should see?

Two because I can't decide: Carnivàle and BBC's Apparitions. Both amazing and under-appreciated. The former was canceled after two seasons, and the latter only survived one.

3. What have you lost that you’d really like to get back?

My brand-new copy of The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I didn't lose it , per say; but I lent it to a friend and what usually happens when you lend books to friends happened.

4. If you could go back anywhere in time for 24 hours, what would you want to see?

This is risky because I'm afraid of bringing the plague forward in time when I returned BUT I would love to spend the day in Caffa when it was flourishing and at its peak.

5. What is your favorite storytelling trope?

(I might not be answering this question correctly oops) THE QUEST. Travelling all over the countryside, seeing new things, achieving some kind of goal, lots of nature and camping. I blame Tolkien entirely.

6. Describe a fanfic you’ve never seen but would like to find one day.

Craving a lengthy post-Thor 2 fic with solid writing and characterizations I agree with that DOESN'T ignore the events of the movie entirely. [Queen's I Want It All playing mournfully in the distance.]

7. What is your favorite ghost/scary story?

As far as stories you can tell around the campfire, I'm still terrified by Tailypo. Creepypastas? Ben Drowned proves once and for all that technology doesn't mean the end of the traditional horror genre. Actual literature? The Red Room by H.G. Wells.

8. What is the strangest thing that’s ever happened to you?

For months after my uncle died, my parents and I would catch really strong whiffs of his aftershave at random times during the day. At work, school, etc. Apparently the same thing happened to my aunt and her family around that time.

9. What would your Patronus be?

A big friendly manatee.

10. What have you done that you’re really proud of?

I'm proud of myself for going back to school! Heck yes.

11. What do you think makes you attractive? (Can’t be nothing, all my friends are bombshell hotness.)

I really just enjoy my general facial structure, to be honest.

I have a question; I'm starting out in paganism, worshipping Sigyn and Loki, and would like to make my own runes; can you offer any advice to a total noob? resources that you use to help you interpret, anything like that?

I like using this for interpretation.  I personally believe will works better than ceremony, but if you have trouble focusing your will, that the ceremony helps.  The runes I use myself, I made out of clay, then bound to myself sing a few drops of blood in the ink.  For wooden runes, I would either use fruit bearing trees or evergreen as a default, but you can use any tree that works better for you, say one that stands for your gods, or just the symbology of it.  Let me know how it works out, and maybe send me pictures once you get them done!
