Day 19:
The Boudhanath Stupa is one of the most popular tourist attractions in all of Kathmandu. The Stupa originally served as trade route between Tibet and Nepal. Today it is a center of Tibetan Buddhism, rich in cultural history, and said to hold the remains of Kassapa Buddha (Nepal Trekking).

Etwas besorgt aufgrund des lebensverändernden Erdbebens vor ca. Einem Jahr verabredete ich mich in Kathmandu nachdem ich Delhi nur die Kalte Schulter gezeigt hatte. Kathmandu war indisch chaotisch und staubig. Neben viel noch immer sehr gut ersichtlicher Zerstörung ist allerdings außerhalb der Camps wieder weitgehend der Alltag eingekehrt. Es gab viele historische Bauten und Tempel und das Buddhistische Viertel von tibetanischen Exilern zu sehen.
