I purchased the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation a few weeks ago, & I really wanted to write a review about this foundation.
I LOVE this foundation. I’ve not worn one as good as it before. I’ve tried so many foundations from high end ones to drug store ones, and Bourjois Healthy Mix is my favourite one! The price is so reasonable for the great quality of this foundation. It costs £9.99.
It lasts pretty much all day. I start work at 9am & finish my day at 5pm, & the foundation still more or less stays put (make sure to use a primer before applying foundation.) I got the shade “Vanilla.”
The only down side with this foundation is that it is very shiny & dewy. That is only a problem if you don’t like the dewy look, of course. I like the dewy, shiny look, but this foundation is a little too shiny, but the great quality of this foundation makes up for it. I use a MAC blotting powder through out the day to keep the shine on my face minimal. Also it has no SPF which is unfortunate as it is so important to protect your skin from the sun day to day.
The smell of this foundation is fruity, which some may like, & some may not like. I personally don't mind the smell of this foundation, but it is a little on the strong side.
I have mild acne & Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation covers it so well. It states that it is of medium coverage, but I find that it covers my acne quite well! It also reduces redness of the face!
I will definitely be purchasing this foundation again! It is the only foundation in my mind that sticks out!!
