Bowen's Whiskey: Middle Earth has something to offer!
Locally made in Bakersfield, CA (of all places) Bowen’s Whiskey won a silver medal in the 2014 World Whiskies Awards in the American whiskey/non-bourbon category.
The spirit, created by Wade Bowen, earned a silver medal at the 2014 World Whiskies Awards in the American whiskey/non-bourbon category. Started in 2007, the awards are conducted by UK publication Whisky Magazine and include categories for blended and rye whiskies as well as bottle design. This year’s winners were selected from more than 350 whiskies following three rounds of rigorous tasting (full list of winners atworldwhiskiesawards.com/2014).
Guess I need to try this one - a local offering from CA.
