Rick’s eldest, Fiona, has been fascinated by a local shop in town named Hex. By some miracle, she opens up to her father about it, even with all the trouble they’ve run into recently as far as father-daughter dynamics go. It’s like magic but mom won’t let me go in, she thinks it has to do with sex. Rick’s face scrunched with confusion at his daughter’s statement, though there wasn’t a hint of surprise when it comes to his exes exaggeration. She wants you to check it our first. Could you? And of course he would. Rick would do anything for his girls, even if it meant waltzing into a magic shop and prove to his paranoid ex that it was totally fine.
So, that leads him here, trying not to bump into anything. Everything looked delicate in the shop. Fragile. And Rick was a giant. He sticks out like a sore thumb inside the little store. He surveys a shelf of crystals before turning to someone at his side. “Sorry, uh,” He starts, “I’ve never been in here before. I’m scoping it out for my daughter.”
